When a foreigner who has registered as a foreigner changes his/ her place of residence, he/ she must report the change to the head of the city, county or gu, the community service center, or the immigration office that has jurisdiction over the place of residence within 14 days of the move. This civil service entails changing the place of residence indicated on the alien registration card of the foreigner reporting the change.

Can a holder of a domestic residence report card report the change in the place of residence to a gu office or a community service center?
Anyone with an alien registration card or domestic residence report card can report their change in the place of residence to the gu office, the community service center or the Immigration Office that has jurisdiction over the place of residence (within 14 days of the move).
Is it possible to report the change in my place of stay if my period of stay indicated on my alien registration card has expired?
You should visit the Immigration Office that has jurisdiction over your place of stay and first extend your stay and then report the change.
Where can I apply for the issuance of an alien registration card, change the status of my stay, or extend the period of stay?
For the report of change in the place of stay and the issuance of a certificate of fact on alien registration, visit a gu office. A community service center provides only the services of seal registration or change, the issuance of a certificate of seal and the issuance of a certificate of fact on alien registration. (via fax).
